Dot Dot Dotticure

I have the first manicure of 2017 here at Polish This! for you guys today! I wanted to do something clean and fresh, so I decided to go with a simple dotted nail art.

Dotticures are always so fun and easy to do, you can't really go wrong with them! I wanted to do one with a light blue base, so I chose Zoya Blu as my base color and did two coats with it. Then I just added one glitter from OPI I Snow You Love Me on each nail and then did the dots around the glitters using a small dotting tool and OPI Angel with a Leadfoot, Zoya Dream and GOSH Holographic.

I really love this clean and fresh look, I've actually had it on my nails for over a week now and I didn't even want to remove it to do some New Year's nail art. Then again, this look worked perfectly for the New Year's Eve too!

Unfortunately, I'm currently lacking a good quick drying top coat as I only very little left in couple of bottles and they are quite thick already. So that's why I ended up with some bubbling, but thankfully you can't really see it in real life. I have to fix the top coat situation right away though!

I've actually gotten quite a few compliments while wearing this manicure. It's always so nice when people notice your nail art and it tells me that I'm not the only one who loves this look!

  2. I really like the simplicity and elegance of your dotticure, it is pretty:)
And just a thought, perhaps you can make a franken QDTC of all your leftovers (and some drops of thinner oc)? I usually do that; leave no drop behind!:p
