Smooshy nail art seems to be one of the trends in the nail world right now, or at least it was a little while ago... I'm a bit late with all of these usually, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's already so last season. Trend or not I wanted to try it myself as I've seen quite a few gorgeous manis done with this technique.
I really love how this look turned out! I used one coat of Essie Blanc as my base color and then I just did the smooshing by applying dots of those three Essie Flowerista collection polishes on my stamper and then dabbing the stamper few times on each nail. I tried not to dab too many times so that I could get that look where the colors are mixed but not too much.
There's really anything too new with this technique. It's quite similar to that you can do with a piece of plastic, so you don't necessarily even need a stamper for this. But then again now I finally found something that's really easy to do with stamper! And I'm certainly going to use this technique again with some different color combos.
