I showed you my swatches of two new Picture Polish lacquers 2001 and Sisters in my previous post and I fell in love with both of those polishes so much, that I wanted to use one of them in a full manicure. I chose to wear the stunning purpleish taupe Sisters and add some simple nail art with two other Picture Polish lacquers.
I did two easy peasy coats with Picture Polish Sisters. Then I used RockNailStar Orchid vinyl stencils and sponged the orchid pattern with Picture Polish Eerie and Allure. I added both of the polishes together to the make-up sponge and then just dabbed carefully over the stencils.
I really love this simple look, it's definitely not too over the top as Allure and Eerie blend in a bit with the background, but still you can see that there's something going on than just the plain polish. I also of course didn't want to cover the beautiful Sisters too much, so I only did the orchid pattern on my middle and ring fingers.
This was actually my first time trying out these RockNailStar stencils and I have to say I was quite impressed by them. I usually have a bit hard time with these type of stencils as my nails are quite curvy, so it's really hard to get them to stick on the whole nail. These were thin enough to bend with the curved nails, but still firm enough to be easy to use.
