Is there really anything better than a great gradient? Not really if you ask me! I have one of those to share with you guys today and I have to say I really loved this look.
Once again I used the Essie Silk Watercolor polishes for this nail art look. This time though I didn't use those blues and greens that I have used quite a few time - instead I chose the red and orange ones for this look.
I did the look by first using two coats of the beautiful Zoya PixieDust called Tomoko. It's such a beautiful champagne shade, I love it! I wanted to share my swatch of it in this post too as I believe I haven't swatched it before.
Then I applied a generous coat of top coat over Tomoko to make it more smooth and after the coat of top coat was dry I started to apply the Silk Watercolor polishes. I used the crimson one called Highest Bidder near my cuticles, the rose one called Blush Stroke in the middle and the orange one called Art New-Beau on the tips. I applied the polishes using their own brushes and just tried to blend them together a bit to avoid too sharp lines between the colors.
The shades really reminded me of a beautiful summer sunset, though maybe these could also be the beautiful fall colors which would make it a bit more season appropriate manicure. Be it summer or fall look, I really really loved it and wore it the whole week straight. And once again I'm loving these Essie Silk Watercolor polishes, they are sooo versatile!
