It's looking like spring is finally here, so there's definitely a need for some spring shades! Today I'm going to share my three picks from the Cirque Colors Metropolis Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
Previously, Cirque Colors has been adding one polish to the Metropolis collection every month, but now on the New York inspired cremes will be released on seasonal basis. The spring/summer set has nine gorgeous light and bright cremes in and honestly, I wanted them all. But as in life general, you can't have always what you want, so I had to restain my self a bit and I managed to narrow it down and bought only three gorgeous shades.
First one is a chic ivory shade called Don't Forget the Cannoli. I can't really resist beautiful off-white cremes like this one, they are my favorite base colors for nail art and other stuff, but I also love to wear them alone. This has great formula, it's a little bit thick, but at the same time, it could almost be one-coater.
The next one is beautiful bright teal called Mermaid Parade. It's really pigmented, I actually have only one coat here! I would probably recommend using two coats of base coat under this one as these type of colors usually tend to stain nail a bit, but at least I didn't have any staining issues while swatching this one.
Last but definitely not least is this super elegant dusty pink called Whitney. This is definitely another favorite for me (aren't these all?!?) as it's such a beautiful stylish shade with pretty much perfect formula. This wasn't quite as thick as Don't Forget the Cannoli, but still more on the thick than thin side. It was such an easy one to work with, two effortless coats and that's all!
I've only had one Cirque Colors creme before (Miami-Dade), so I didn't have that much experience with their cremes, but these definitely convinced me. They all had great formula, with Whitney it was dead on perfect. These three certainly didn't help and made me want the other shades even more badly. At least Key to Gramercy, Meet Me in Montauk and Lox and Sable are definitely calling my name.
Are you all sporting bright spring shades already?
