FUN Lancuer Blue Tears

It's no secret: I can't resist gorgeous blue polishes. So of course I had to pick up the beautiful FUN Lacquer Blue Tears from their previous sale.

Blue Tears is a stunning vibrant blue holographic polish from FUN Lacquer Summer 2015 collection. In addition to the regular holographic effect, this has that beautiful golden holographic glitter in it to make it more special. Blue Tears has a great formula, I only needed two coats for full coverage and it was really easy to apply.

I'm not sure if I even need to say this, but I love this color! It's such a beautiful shade of the blue and the gorgeous holographic effect and glitter are just the perfect icing on the cake.

I actually did some quick nail art with Blue Tears and another FUN Lacquer polish, 24 Karat Diamond. I wasn't really completely happy with the nail art look, so I wanted to share first the gorgeous polish with you guys. But since I did take pictures of the nail art that I did, I'm going to share that too.
I used Mi Vinyls nail vinyls for my index, ring and pinky nails. For my middle finger nails, I just did couple coats of 24 Karat Diamond over Blue Tears and I left my thumbs with only Blue Tears on them. It's a decent skittlette look, but somehow I wasn't really feeling it and I actually removed it right after I took the photos and did something else on my nails.

Both polishes are gorgeous, that's for sure! Maybe my design and the general idea wasn't the best, I don't know. Sometimes it just doesn't work... Though actually now looking back it doesn't even look that bad in these pictures.

Picture Polish Calm

What's better than a gorgeous turquoise with scattered holographic effect and some beautiful water decals to finish the look? Well, pretty much nothing if you ask me!

This stunning polish is of course Picture Polish Calm and the water decals are some cheap ones from Born Pretty Store. Calm was so easy to apply, I only needed two coats for full coverage. The water decals were pretty decent too, I have no complaints about them. I used one coat of Gina Tricot White under them.
This is definitely my kind of look and I could wear nails like these for quite a while without getting bored with them!

Bow Nail Polish Thermo Top Coat with Black Lace

A little while ago I a small haul from Hypnotic Polish mainly because I wanted that Bow Nail Polish Thermo Top Coat. I'm sure I'm not the only one who just had to have after seeing Sveta's gorgeous nail art with it. Of course I also wanted to try it on my nails as soon as possible and I wanted to do something with a similar black and white idea than the mani by Sveta that I loved, but still something a bit different.

I used first two coats of the Bow top coat and after it was dry I just applied those MILV black lace water decals and then just added a coat of top coat and that's it. This was so easy and simple look to do, but I really love how it turned out.

I was little afraid that the whole look would look too black, but I usually have quite warm hands, so the black wasn't too dominant most of the time. Actually, majority of time it looked like a perfectly chic french manicure with black tips. Sometimes the black disappeared completely and outside, in the cold weather the nails looked mostly black. I love the fact that the Bow Thermo Top Coat has that beautiful holographic shimmer in it, it looks gorgeous with all the different looks the thermo effect gives you!

Once again I also have to praise those MILV water decals, they are just so easy to use and they always work perfectly, so even doing the whole ten digits with them isn't a hard task at all.

To me this was such an elegant look with an interesting twist. I never really got tired of checking how my nails looked in different temperatures and settings.

I still need to try how this thermo top coat works with other colors and polishes, but at least it is really gorgeous when used on its own!
