I Love Me 2015 messutärpit ja arvonta

This post is only in Finnish as it's about this Finnish I Love Me -fair.

Ensi kuussa koittavat taas kauan odotetut I Love Me -messut! Tälläkin kertaa aion täältä itärajan tuntumasta suunnata kohti Helsinkiä messuilemaan lauantaina, sillä ilokseni sain myös tänä vuonna bloggaajapassin messuille. Junaliput on siis jo hankittu ja messusuunnitelmia tehty, joten ajattelin viime vuoden tapaan jakaa hieman omia messutärppejäni teille muille messuille suuntaaville. ;)

Jos joku ei sattumoisin vielä tiedä, mikä ihmeen tapahtuma nämä I Love Me -messut ovat, niin kyseessä ovat siis kolmipäiväiset viisi teemaa yhdistävät messut Helsingin messukeskuksessa 16.-18.10.2015. Messujen teemoja ovat kauneus, muoti, terveys, koru&kello ja luonnollisesti, eli yhden tapahtuman sisään on kasattu melkeinpä jokaiselle jotakin!

Ohjelmassa on uutuutena tänä vuonna mm. hiusnäytökset, joita järjestetään näytösalueella päivittäin klo 15.

Kuten luvattu, myös teillä on nyt mahdollisuus voittaa lippu I Love Me -messuille! Yksi lippu oikeuttaa yhteen kertakäyntiin messuilla ja lippuja arvon kaksi kappaletta, yhden per voittaja. Liput annettiin minulle arvottavaksi blogin seuraajia varten, joten osallistuaksesi sinun täytyy seurata Polish This!

Onnea matkaan!

Middle of Flower Field: Lush Lovely Jubblies Breast Cream

Whenever I hear the word Lush, the first thing that comes to my mind is their original and powerful scents that are really typical for Lush. Usually if there's a Lush store nearby, you can smell it even before you can see it. Their scents might feel quite strong at first, but what I love about them is the fact that they truly are original and natural scents.

Just couple months ago I got three Lush products for review and today I thought I'd share couple of my thoughts about Lovely Jubblies Breast Cream.

When I first got this one I wasn't really sure if I'd ever write anything about it here, since well, I wasn't going to show you the results even if it had worked like a miracle. As this is a breast cream the main function is of course tightening and firming your breast and cleavage. Lush says that the cream is packed with tightening meadowsweet infusion and firming tiger lily petals. It also has beeswax as well as almond and avocado oils in it to soften your skin.

I've been using this quite regularly for couple months now and I'm not sure if it has made any difference in my breast section, at least the difference isn't anything huge. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting a big impact either, but somehow I still fell in love with this cream. The biggest thing why I love this is of course the scent. Lush says that this leaves your cleavage smelling like a fresh floral bouquet of orange blossom, rose, jasmine and ylang ylang, and they are totally right! Sure I can't really say if I smell all those different flowers in this, but to me it smells like a beautiful fully blooming flower field that has plenty of roses in it. And it's not an artificial rose or flower scent, it the same scent that you'd get when smelling real flowers.

I work at office environment and I don't want to use any strong scents that could bother my co-workers and here's where Lovely Jubblies has really been the best thing ever. I rub just a little bit of it on my cleavage every morning and I can go to work smelling like flowers. The scent isn't too strong as it's a cream and not a parfum or anything like that, so you just get a hint of the scent after a while, but it's just enough for a daytime scent. Funny thing is that I'm not usually a flower-scent-type-of-girl as most of the time I prefer those fresh citrus scents, but somehow Lovely Jubblies made me fell in love with this flowery scent from the beginning.

But, and this is a big BUT, unfortunately Lush has already discontinued this awesome product and it's not available for long. So if you still want to try this out, you should head to the nearest Lush store as soon as you can as it will be out of the stores really soon. I asked from Lush here in Finland and they said that they have couple of these creams still available in the store, so it's literally the final moment to get this one.

If you can't get your hands on this cream anymore, then you might want to try the Pearl Massage Bar. I was told that it has a little bit similar scent, so after I run out of my wonderful Lovely Jubblies, I might need to try it.

Have you guys tried Lovely Jubblies or any other Lush products? Which are your favorite Lush products?

X's

I don't have any O's for you guys today, just some X's. Haha, did you notice that just the other day I learned that you should start all your online texts with your best sentence?

I actually got to go to this half day class to educate myself a bit about online writing. It was really a work related thing since a little part of my job also consist some website updates and online communication. So the main focus was on professional stuff, but I though that some of it would be suitable for blogging also. Majority of it was quite basic stuff, but the main thing that stuck on my mind after the class was the "rule" that you should always start with your best sentence.

Maybe I've heard it before also, I don't know. I just browsed through some of my previous post and I'm pretty sure I haven't really started with the best sentence majority of the time... Maybe the rule is truly true, but I sure hope that you guys read more than just the first sentence.

This mani is actually something I did a while back but because of my little blog hiatus, I haven't posted it before, so here it is. This was once again one of those times that I didn't have too much time to spend doing my nails, but I still wanted to do some quick nail art. I decided to go with some nail vinyls and a little bit of gradient.

I wanted a neutral base color, so I chose once again Essie Sand Tropez for this and did three coats with it. I really loved the two bright colors from Essie's spring collection and I wanted to use them together in another manicure, so I chose Garden Variety and Flowerista for the gradient. I also wanted add some bright pink into the mix, so Essie's Bottle Service was the perfect choice for the job. The nail vinyls that I used are X stencil Mi Vinyls from Mi Nails.

Products used for this manicure
Base coat: Sally Hansen Nail Rehab
Polishes: Essie Sand Tropez (3 coats), Essie Bottle Service, Essie Flowerista, Essie Garden Variety
Top coat: Glisten&Glow HK Girl
Others: Mi Vinyls stencil X

Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection - Swatches and Review

It's looking a lot like fall already: the weather is quite gloomy and grey, the leaves are turning into beautiful autumn colors and of course there are plenty of gorgeous fall nail polish collections out there! Today I have one of those to share with you guys, it's Essie's take on fall 2015 with the Leggy Legend collection.

*Press sample
I got the whole collection for review and these are again those Finnish/European version Essies with the wide brush and possibly a tad different ingredients and formula than the US Essies.

Bell-Bottom Blues is a dusty navy blue with teal shimmer that flashes in purple in some angles. For a blue-lover like me this is of course one of the favorites of this collection as it's a stunning autumn blue. Additionally it's a one-coater, so yeah, I'm totally loving this one!

Color Binge is a very bright that leans to orange or maybe even coral. It's almost like a neon as it is so bright! I used two coats with a coat of top coat. It's a jelly, so there's a bit of VNL after two coats, but it didn't really show too much and I'm pretty sure you can get rid of that with a third coat. It's a beautiful color and a bit unexpected in a fall collection.

Frock 'n Roll is a greyish taupe shade with strong purple hint. It has that stunning Essie-like silver shimmer in it and it's actually quite an unique shade to my collection. It has a perfect formula too as it coveres with just one coat. I did two thin coats here in my pictures just to be safe, but you can really use just one coat with this one. I'm totally in love with this shade, I actually wore this for a whole week and didn't even decorate it in any way. It's just perfect shade for fall!

In the Lobby is a dark plum jelly. It has a pretty great formula and it coveres with just two coats, and that's exactly what I did here. It's crazy shiny on its own. In the Lobby isn't really anything original, but it's a stylish shade nevertheless.

Leggy Legend is the namesake polish of this collection and it's seems to be pretty much everyone's favorite out of the collection. It's a molten bronze with a strong gold flash and pink shimmer. It's another one-coater of this collection and eventhough it's a metallic, it doesn't have those visible brush strokes, so it's another perfect formula by Essie! I can see why people love this shade so much, unfortunately, it didn't suit my skintone particularly well. I'm sure you will be happy to know that it also stamps pretty nicely, like Emma showed us

With the Band is a rusty brick red creme. It coveres with two easy coats and all in all it's a very beautiful and flattering shade. If this isn't a fall color, I don't know what is!

I think this is really awesome collection with such a beautiful shades to wear this fall. My picks would be Bell-Bottom Blues, Color Binge and Frock 'n Roll, but I'm sure you all would enjoy the other three too, especially Leggy Legend. These should be in the stores already, so hurry and get yours while you can!

Which one of these is your favorite?

Zoya Aurora - Wedding Nails For a Guest

I actually had two different weddings to attend to this summer and of course I needed something pretty on my nails for the occasions.

I didn't have too much time to do the mani, so I had to go with something quite simple and quick. Water decals are pretty much the best thing to use when you need a fast but beautiful manicure, at least they are that for me. Then I just needed a gorgeous polish to go with the water decals, and what would be more pretty than one of the scattered holographics by Zoya?

The theme color of the wedding that I was attending as a guest was purple, so Zoya Aurora was pretty obvious choice. I also wanted to use purple water decals to fully go with the purple theme, so I chose these pretty purple flowers.

It was surely a simple manicure like I said, but at the same time it was really pretty and suited the occasion perfectly. I got quite a lot of compliments wearing this look which is always so nice!

I'm back! (with some Barcelona pictures)

It seems that I took a little unplanned blog vacation. I'm sorry I didn't announce it in any way beforehand but frankly I didn't plan it at all. I guess life just happened. But I'm back now and I have quite a lot of posts planned for you guys, so there will definitely be more life here in my blog from now on.

I got to spend a well needed vacation last month in Barcelona, so I thought I'd share some vacation collages and my vacation manicure with you today.

Love love loved the reflection colors inside Sagrada Familia! I'll definitely need to use this as an inspiration for some great nail art!

We really had a great time, Barcelona is such a wonderful city! I highly recommend visiting it at some point, if you haven't already.

Oh and my vacation manicure? I took the inspiration for this simple look from the Yellow Nails blog. I really loved Anni's beautiful dotting tool manicure and I did it pretty much the same for myself. I just changed the colors a bit and I also tried to vary the dot size a bit too. I used Essie Sand Tropez as my base color and I did three thin coats with it. I'm pretty sure I've used it before for a vacation manicure too. Sand Tropez is definitely one of my favorite nudes, if not THE favorite, and I pretty much always wear something nude for my vacations since it doesn't show a little wear, dents and such as easily as some bolder colors do. For the dots I used Dance Legend Holy Diver and I just can't get over how pretty the polish is! It worked perfectly combined to the nude base and I loved this simple look very much.

And if you wondering, I took the nail pictures in the gorgeous colorful Park Güell. It was one of my favorite spots that we visited in Barcelona and it was pretty perfect spot to take some nail pictures. It would be so great to have something like it to use as a background more often, but unfortunately I'm going to need to settle for my lightbox in the future.

It's great to be back, I've missed blogging and of course all you guys! I hope to see you back here really soon!
