Here it comes, the 32 nail art manicures of the Finnish(able) Nail Art Challenge!
It's always so much fun to see all the manicures together! It's quite obvious that this was spring challenge, I think the collage looks way more colorful than the autumn one.
By the way, if you are waiting to hear who will win those awesome giveaway and contest prizes, you have to still wait a little while. We will announce the winners in couple days, we just need some time to figure out the contest winners as there are so many great participants!
But in the mean while, let's take a final closer look to my challenge manicures.
From these first nine challenge manicures especially my first challenge manicure, the gradient over white water decals with two of Dance Legend Aquarelles was definitely one of my favorite challenge manicures, maybe even one of my favorite manis of this year. It was done for the theme Something Other Than Pink and it definitely was something other!
Matched to an Outfit was also one of my favorites, I'm quite happy how those hand painted swallows turned out! I wore the Abstract mani for quite a while, it's definitely my cup of tea with the combo of nude and neons! Sporting mani was also special to me, especially after the Finnish biathlete Kaisa Mäkäräinen liked the mani in Instagram and even commented it! I have a bit mixed feelings about my mani for the theme Nature's Wonders; I still love that seasonal idea for the theme, but I'm not completely happy how the mani turned out.
Eventhough my mani for the theme Textured was quite simple, I still liked it very much. As a Finn I do love the combo of blue and white, and I feel like it looked really good in this manicure! I Thought I'd Never was truly something I thought I'd never do again: use that awful flocking powder on my nails. But I still did as the theme kinda made me do it and I really shouldn't have. It's probably one of my least favorite manis during this challenge eventhough I do love both lacquers that I used for the mani. I also felt like my mani for the theme My Most Used Polish wasn't too great, but somehow you all seemed to like it?!
Pastels, My Newest Polish and Mint & Pink were again manicures that I really liked, they were all pretty simple but still had something special going on and more importantly I really loved wearing all of them. Then again some simple manicures, like the one for the theme Monochromatic, are those that I'd do again if I had the chance. I had a great idea for the theme, but I run out of time and then I just had to do something really simple. But I can of course still do the mani I had originally planned at some point!
I feel like in these nine manicures there are quite a few that I really liked. Actually, Rainy Day is probably the only one that I didn't like so much, all the others are pretty much my favorites even if some of them are quite simple. I especially loved that Dot Dot Dot manicure and of course those hand painted poppys for Blooming. Game To Play was also definitely one of my favorites as well as surprisingly the yellow Out of the Comfort Zone manicure and the dotticure for Oh So Bright. I also finally tried painting feathers on my nails for hte Dreaming theme and evemthough it's once again quite simple manicure, I really like the blue gradient and how those feathers turned out!
For some reason my last few manis for the challenge were all quite pinkish, but oh well. The first three here aren't really my biggest favorites, mainly because I didn't have time to redo them or do them properly at the first place. Animalistic is another least favorite for me, it just wasn't my style and those water decals didn't work properly. The last two, however, are really my favorite ones. I loved that simple wedding nails look for I Do and the mani I did for Geometric was certainly one of my favorite ones for a while.
If I'd had to choose my three favorites from all these manicures, they would probably be Something Other Than Pink, Blooming and Geometric, but really, like I said, there are quite a few manis that I really liked.
I'd love to hear what you guys think, so tell me which one of my spring challenge manicures did you guys like the best?
