I believe I promised you yesterday my swatches of Essie Flowerista collection, so here they come!
Like I already told you yesterday, I'm really in love with this collection! The colors are great and these have pretty great formula for cremes. But let's take a look!
I have no base coat in all these swatches, but I have one coat of Glisten&Glow HK Girl top coat over all the polishes.
Flowerista is a gorgeous reddish plum. This has really amazing formula, it practically covers with one coat. I did two just in case. This is stunning shade and I don't have anything quite like it. I loooove this one!
Garden Variety is a bit tough one to photograph, it tends to look a bit too blue in the pictures. It's a beautiful blue teal. I used two easy coats here. This is really really pigmented, so it might stain a little, so remember to use a good coat or even two coats of base coat under this one. It's stunning shade and another favorite of mine from this collection.
Perennial Chic is peachy nude. I think this is quite close to Essie Spin the Bottle, though this one might be just a bit more peachy. I used again two coats but this time I had to use a bit thicker coats as this one is a tad more sheer, but it applied really well still. I don't think this is totally the right color for my skintone, but oddly I still quite like it.
Petal Pushers is another stunner, it's a beautiful shade of smoky grey with blue undertones. It's another one with pretty perfect formula too, it practically coveres with just one coat. Once again I still did two just in case. This isn't probably the most typical spring shade, but I'm totally in love with this one. It's very flattering and I will surely be wearing this again soon!
Picked Perfect is a warm almond brown and it's another one with the same perfect formula. It coveres with two easy coats and goes on very smoothly. It's also very flattering shade, I'm pretty sure this would look even more perfect with just a tiny bit of summer tan.
All in all it's probably quite obvious that I really like this collection. I think it has great selection of beautiful hues for spring: vibrant and strong statement colors complimented with some more office-friendly shades. I think my favorites were the two bold colors Flowerista and Garden Variety but I also really loved the gorgeous grey Petal Pushers and the gorgeous tan shade Picked Perfect.
Which one of these is your favorite?
