Oh my, it's the last week of our #ablecs15 challenge! Time has just flown by, it feels like it just started and now we are already at week 16. Oh well, at least I have still two challenge manicures left to share with you guys.
Also, I have to remind you that don't forget our awesome contest/giveaway! It's ending soon, but you have still couple days left to participate and the prizes are pretty great if I may say so!
As for this week's challenge manicures, I started with the wedding theme called I Do. I wanted to do something quite simple but still very pretty as that's how I would do my wedding nails. White and lace are pretty much the two most obvious choices for wedding nails and at first I thought I should think of something else, but in the end I just decided to go with those two as they felt like the most natural choice for this theme for me.
I used two coats of Essie Sugar Daddy as my base color. Then I just applied some white lace water decals on each of my nails, sealed them with a coat of top coat and that's it. First I was going to add some sparkle or something, but after I just added those water decals, I was loving the simple and clean look so much that I just decided to keep it this simple.
I actually loved this look on me even though I didn't go to any wedding with these nails and I definitely wasn't getting married. It's such a simple look, but I thought it was really beautiful too!
I've had quite a few weddings to go to (as a guest) for past couple of years and I actually have two weddings coming up this summer too. For the first time though I might have the chance to do the nails for the bride as my brother is going to get married and his fiancée is of course going to need a manicure for the wedding. Hopefully I'll have the time to do the wedding manicure for her as that would be kinda awesome!
