Can't believe it's already here: the final day and the final mani of #ablecs15 challenge! Spring has gone by so fast while doing this challenge and I have to say that once again I really enjoyed doing this with all you guys. It was so amazing to see even more people participate this time and I've spent quite a few moments admiring all your challenge manicures in Instagram and in all your blogs. Unfortunately I haven't had enough time to comment your manis as often as I would have wanted to, but believe when I tell you that I have really enjoyed seeing all of them and I'm pretty sure my co-hosts of this challenge, Mirka and Katjamaria have also! At least we all had amazing time with this challenge and I hope you all did too!
By the way, you have still time to participate in our challenge giveaway/contest if you haven't done it yet. And remember, even if you only do just one challenge manicure, it's enough and you can just enter that one in both the giveaway and the contest. But hurry, they will both end tomorrow! You can read more about them both here.
But I still have one challenge mani to share with you guys! The last theme left for me is geometric and since this was the final manicure, I wanted to do something a bit more special than just a simple manicure, so I dug up some striping tape and spent quite a while taping my nails.
I ran into this beautiful manicure and tutorial for quite a while ago and I knew immediately that I wanted to try it, so ever since I've been saving it for this challenge theme. Today I finally got the chance to actually give it a try and I'm so in love with this look! In fact this was easier to do than I thought as I was sure I would go insane having to use this much striping tape. Sure it took a while to do this, but in the end it was quite easy to tape all the nails. I think those single triangles on my index and pinky nails took more time than the other nails as it was so hard to get those where I wanted them to be.
As I said, I'm totally in love with this look! I think it looks really cool and I have to say that I really love these three Essie Flowerista polishes combined together. They look pretty amazing, don't they?!
I used Essie Blanc (three coats) as my base color. The other three polishes that I used were Essie Blossom Dandy, Flowerista and Garden Variety and in addition to these I also used quite a lot of nail art striping tape, a make-up sponge and a little bit of patience. I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing this mani for the entire week next week, I love it so much!
Products used for this manicure

I will surely do a roundup post of all the manicures I did for the challenge and we (me, Katjamaria and Mirka) have the pleasant (but also probably quite hard) job ahead of us as we have to choose the winners of the challenge contest. But remember, you have still little over a day left to participate!
