The second theme of this week is Paint It With a Pantone and it was clear to me from the beginning that I wanted to use of the Pantone Color of the Year shades for this challenge. I don't really own any polishes in Marsala, Color of the Year 2015, so I decided to go with the 2014 shade Radiant Orchid.
Zoya Perrie was quite obvious choice for this radiant orchid manicure since it's my favorite polish of this shade and also because it was the polish that won ALU's Radiant Orchid Madness last year and so it was chose to be the best radiant orchid polish.
Perrie is simply stunning shade and it also has great formula. I used two easy coats here, this is simply just so easy to apply and it goes on perfectly. After Perrie I applied some white flower water decals on each my nails. Then I painted the center of the flowers and part of the petals with Dance Legend Top Coat Aquarelle shade Chagall and finally added just a little bit of glitters from Essie Set In Stones in the center of the flowers.
I wanted to keep the beautiful radiant orchid shade of Perrie as the main point of this manicure, so I chose to use quite small water decals and didn't want to decorate the nails more. It's a pretty simple manicure, but still very pretty! I love the shade, this was quite perfect choice for Color of the Year 2014. I'm not totally sold on 2015 shade Marsala just yet, though maybe I should buy some polish in that shade and see if I'd like it on my nails.
