The second #ablecs15 theme for week 9 is Mint & Pink and I'm going to start the week with that theme. I really love the combo of mint and pink and I've used it few times in the past. Usually when I'm mixing these two colors in my manicures, I tend to use very soft and delicate shades of mint and pink. This time I wanted to try something a bit different and use a very soft mint color with a touch of really bright and vivid pink.
Not too long ago I bought a few Delush Polish lacquers and among them were the new spring shade called Amazemint and the bright pink All That Glitters Is Not Gold from the Holidaze collection. These two were really the two perfect shades for this theme!
I used three thin coats of Amazemint as my base color. After it was completely dry I taped my nails with some nail vinyls from Vinyl It Up and then painted the triangles with All That Glitters Is Not Gold and then finished the mani with a generous coat of top coat.
This was quite a simple look, but I didn't really want to cover neither of these polishes with more decorations since they are both such a pretty ones. Amazemint is truly a perfect minty spring shade and I love the mix of the light delicate minty base and the glitters. All That Glitters Is Not Gold is such a fun shade, so bright and vivid, it's safe to say that I love them both!
