#ablecs15 Week 8: Happy Easter

I have the second #ablecs15 mani of week 8 to share with you today, just in time before the Easter Sunday which is quite fitting since the theme for this mani is Happy Easter. This time I didn't want to do anything too literal Eastery with bunnies and whatnot and instead I just choose some springlike shades and went with them.

I decided to water marbling for a change since I haven't done it in a while. I should do it more often as somehow I felt like I had lost my water marbling skills a bit. Also I managed even to brake my water marbling glass... I had used this old drinking glass for water marbling for years since it had a little crack in it, but now it's totally broken, so I'll need to find some other water marbling cup for myself. Oh well, at least in the end I managed to somewhat nice pattern. It might not be my best water marbling work but it's something!

I used Picture Polish Eerie on my thumb, index and pinky nails and also added some colorful nail studs on those nails. For the accent marbling nails I first did a coat with Essie Blanc to make the marbled colors pop out more. Then I did the marbling with Picture Polish Cyan and Eerie and Zoya Dillon and Daisy and finished the mani with a coat of top coat.

Even if this isn't any traditional Easter manicure, I think it suits the occasion perfectly! I really like all these springlike colors together, it looks really bright, fun and sweet. And I'm definitely going to do another water marbling mani soon, I just have to find that cup for it first...
