Sun is shining here again so it's perfect time to share some spring collection swatches with you guys! Today I have the whole Zoya Delight collection to show to you. It's a six shade collection with three cremes and three metallic shimmers. All the shades are really spring-like and they all have that spring paste-like feeling eventhough some of the shades are a bit more birght than traditional pastels.
I actually already did a quick nail art look with four of these Delight polishes and you can check it out here if you missed it. But let's see those swatches now!
The first one is Daisy, a lemon merengue yellow metallic with turquoise flash. I'm not the biggest fan of yellow polishes, so this isn't really my type of color, but then again, the blue-ish shimmer makes this really look interesting and unique. This was a bit sheer, so I need three coats for full coverage. It was a bit patchy with the first coat, but the additional coats fixed that problem. You need to be a bit careful while applying this, since it's not the easiest one to clean up. The shimmer in this is the kind that will be all over your nails when you try to clean it up.
This one is called Eden and it's a bright medium pink creme. For some reason I had difficulties applying this evenly, so I needed three coats to smooth everything out. This is quite basic color and I'm not sure that it's the best match with my skintone, but of course it's a very pretty pink nonetheless.
Well now we're talking! This beautiful one is called Leslie and it's a soft pastel metallic lavender with turquoise flash. This had a pretty nice formula, so I had no issues with the application. It's a bit sheer, so I needed three coats for full coverage. With this one also you need to apply it carefully to avoid unnecessary clean-up and the shimmers all over your nails, but like I said, this had a nice formula, so the application was really easy. This was definitely one of my favorites.
This beautiful pastel blue creme is called Lillian and Zoya describes this one as faded aquamarine. It's a really nice shade of blue and very sprin-like, However, I had some issues with this one as it isn't really self-leveling type, so I had to use three coats to get it on smoothly. It also gave me a bit of lobster hands, but I think I'm still going to wear this as the color is so pretty.
Rayne is a blue metallic with the same turquoise flash. This is quite bright and fun color, it's probably no suprise that I love it! This had similar formula than the other shimmers in this collection; sheer with first coat and full coverage with three coats. I think this is fine color for spring, but it will certainly work perfectly for summer too.
Last but not least is Tiana, a pastel pistachio green creme. This is really a surprise favorite of mine, I love this color so much! This one had the best formula out of these all, it only needed two coats for full coverage and it was also nicely self-leveling. Did I already say that I love the color?! Oh yes, I did...
All in all I had a bit mixed feelings about this collection. To me Lillian, Rayne and Tiana are really gorgeous ones and I love all three of them, so they are really the winners of this collection. Lillian is also quite pretty one, though the formula wasn't the best and it's not the most unique color-wise. Then the last two, Daisy and Eden, aren't really my type of colors, so they were a little miss for me.
Which one of these is your favorite?
