Time flies and it's time for another Polishers Inc. manicure! This time the theme is Opposited Attract and I decided simply to go with opposite colors.
I went with the two opposite colors that are probably my favorite ones together: blue and orange. I have done some manicures with these two in the past too, and they always seem to work together quite well!
The orange that I used is Pretty Serious Generally Hazzardous and I have two coats of it on each nail. It's a gorgeous orange with golden shimmer, very pretty and it has quite perfect formula. The blue that I used it Respite Lane from Arcane Lacquer, also very gorgeous one! It has lovely blue base with beautiful shimmer. It was a bit sheer, so I had to apply two generous coats to cover the orange base, but at least it was really easy to apply and went on nicely. I'm pretty sure you would need three coats of it for a full manicure, but I haven't tried it on its own.
The nail vinyls that I used for this manicure are from Vinyl It Up. This was my first time using them and I liked them quite a bit, because they felt like little bit thinner than some other vinyls I have tried. I have quite curvy nails, so I feel like thinner vinyls are easier to use and they stick more easily than thick ones. I have bought those square blue studs from BPS.
I'm not 100 percent sure what to think about this manicure. I felt like I really liked these two polishes together, but maybe I should have taped the two nails with the same pattern or something... I also somehow managed to smudge the designs a bit, so that might be the reason why I didn't like this manicure so much. Oh well, at least both of these polishes looked really good!
