Zoya Ignite Collection Comparisons

When I posted my Zoya Ignite collection swatches the other day, there were some discussion how similar or different the two red leaning polishes, Teigen and India, really are. That's why I thought I'd share a quick comparison of those two. I also wanted to compare Remy from the same Inginite collection to Zoya Charla as I've seen people say that they might be close. So I have some comparison pictures of those too also, as well as of Sansa from Ignite collection compared to an older Zoya, Daul. When I posted my swatches, I said that Sansa was a darker version of Daul, so I wanted to add those two here also.

Teigen and India do look quite similar in the bottles, though there is a slight color difference.

I have two coats each here, no base or top coat. On nail India is clearly darker than Teigen and they also are quite different shades of red. Teigen is more like deep cranberry pink and India is dark Burgundy.

The shimmer in them is really similar, but as Teigen has a bit lighter base the golden shimmer is more visible. So these two are a bit similar but there are quite few differences also. I'm really happy to own them both and I think I will also have use for them both.

Hope this helped at least a bit, Fani! ;)

Remy and Charla are clearly different already in the bottles as Remy is way darker than Charla. However, the shimmer makes them look a bit alike.

I have here three coats of Charla and two coats of Remy, so they differ in formula too. Charla is really sheer and it truly needs those three coats for full coverage whereas Remy is almost one-coater. On nail Charla looks way lighter than Remy and the strong turquoise shimmer makes Charla look even a bit greenish in some angles. Remy looks clearly more blue.

There also seems to be more shimmer in Charla than Remy, but then again, the shimmer is more visible in Charla too as the base color is lighter. The shimmer particles in Remy are slightly smaller than the ones in Charla. So these two are definitely not dupes, not even really similar. Charla and Remy are both so stunning polishes that I'm certainly going to keep them both.

I don't own any of those Charla's dupes (like Orly's Halley's Comet or OPI's Catch Me In Your Net) so I couldn't include them to this comparison. But if they are dupes for Charla, that of course then means that they definitely aren't dupes for Zoya Remy.

Sansa and Daul are definitely different already in the bottles as Sansa is very dark purple compared to Daul.

On nail Daul needs three coats for full coverage, Sansa coveres with two coats. These two have pretty much the same differences between them than Remy and Charla had. Sansa is clearly darker and as Daul is lighter, the shimmer is more visible in it.

The shimmer in these two looks quite similar to me, though it also looks like there's more of it in Daul than in Sansa. They are both seriously gorgeous polishes and as you can probably guess, I'm keeping them both for sure. I've previously owned Orly's Oui, but I don't have it anymore as it is really a close dupe for Daul. That then also of course means that Oui isn't dupe for Sansa.

What do you guys think, do you have any favorites?

    1. Eipä kestä. :) Kieltämättä ne on kyllä molemmat upeita tapauksia, joten sanoisin, että on ihan perusteltua tarvita ne molemmat! Samoin tietysti Daul ja Remy. :D
