IsaDora Sugar Nails Pastels - Spring Candy swatches & review

I already posted some nail art with the new IsaDora spring Sugar Nails polishes, but today I have swatches of all the polishes to show you guys!

There are total of five different springlike looking shades in this collection and like previously IsaDora's Sugar Crush Nails lacquers these are all of course textured ones. These are all quite soft shades, so they are a bit more sheer than some darker ones, but they do cover well with three coats.

For the swatches here I used three thin coats of each polish, no base or top coat. I let them all dry a bit between coats as I think that's the best way to go with all the textured polishes. Since you can't really use a quick drying top coat if you want to keep the textured effect, these do take a little more time to dry out completely, but if you wait a while between coats, it will make the applying easier and also help with the drying time.

Bon Bon - pastel pink, lovely on your nails

Bon Bon is very beautiful soft pastel pink, quite cool toned. I was a bit afraid whether this would work with my skintone or not, as pinks are sometimes quite difficult, but I thought this one really suited me quite well. The color is very suitable for spring, but this could work just as well on a cold winter day. So beautiful!

Cotton Candy - the perfect lilac pastel for your nails

Cotton Candy is a light lilac one and also very beautiful! Though I'd say that Zoya Stevie still has the spot in my collection as the most gorgeous lilac textured polish, this is still a good competitor. Compared to this Stevie is a tad darker and it also has more silver glitter in it. I can do a comparison of these two if you want? There isn't too many of these light lilac textures out there, so this is really a good choice if you are looking for one.

Lemon Soda - soft, yellow, lemony shade

Lemon soda is a soft yellow with a bit different look than the first two. This one has some bigger glitters in the mix too and those make the polish look way more interesting! Yellow is a bit difficult color for me and I think I currently have only two yellows in my stash and I never wear them alone. This is quite a light yellow so I could even see myself wearing this, though it's still not my favourite one. Without those bigger glitters this would have been more of a miss for me, but with those I kinda like it.

Macaron - soft turquoise shade that reminds you of the French macarons in bright pastel colors

Macaron is a light green shade with a really perfect name! The color is quite delicious! However, this one was the sheerest one of these so my nail line shines a bit through, but you can of course do one additional coat or maybe use a similar color underneath this one so you won't need to do as many coats. The color is nevertheless very beautiful and I'd think that even people who don't like green nail polishes that much could still like this one.

Peach Nectar - a gorgeous peachy color for your nails, which you can match with one of our lipsticks or lip glosses in peach

I saved the best for last, this gorgeous peachy lacquer is my absolute favourite! Peach Nectar has those similar bigger glitters in the mix as Lemon Soda but whereas in Lemon Soda the glitters shine mainly in orange, in Peach Nectar they are more iridescent. The peachy color is so beautiful and those glitters really make this polish awesome. It just shines and sparkles so beautifully!

Like I said, my absolute favourite was the gorgeous Peach Nectar, but I'd say my second favourites could be the sofrt and sweet pink Bon Bon and the beautiful soft lilac Cotton Candy.

Tell me guys, which one of these delicious pastels was your favourite?

*Lakat on saatu arvioitaviksi.

    1. I hope you can find these or something similar in there! Rimmel has some really similar colors (also that green one, theirs is called Fizzy Applelicious) if those are more easily available for you there. :) Also, stay tuned here, there's going to be a giveaway here soon with pastel textures and many other things. ;)

    3. I'd say that the three of them (green, yellow and lilac) are really the same stuff, at least judging from the bottles they look exactly the same. You're welcome! :D
